"Gonet's NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs 3210 is striking in its beauty. A layered, beautifully textured wine, the 3210 stands out for its pure class. The classic Mesnil Chardonnay and chalk notes are totally alive in a broad, large-scaled Champagne loaded with class and pedigree. The no dosage style works beautifully here. The 3210 is a blend of fruit from Mesnil and Montgueux (in the Aube), two very different but highly complementary terroirs."

This release is based on the 2007 vintage, and it shows quite a bit of focus and energy from the low dosage. Bright citrus and white floral notes flow through to the tense finish. Although quite pretty, the 3210 comes across as a bit severe in style today."
