"Domaine de Millet sits just outside of Eauze in the heart of the Gers. Originally a poly-culture estate, they now reserve the majority of arable land for vines, over 80 hectars, which they've devoted to wine making. Many may be familiar with their lovely refreshing Cote de Gascogne. A small portion of the estate is planted to Baco and this is a blend of that non-vinious varietal and the classic Ugni Blanc. Aged for two years in traditional "pièces armagnacaises," large locally made oak barrels, the vibrant and refreshing style is not without some oak character, but offers resounding fruit componants and lovely length. This is a good one for mixing or sipping after dinner, when you just want to take it a bit easy."
