"The NV Extra Brut Les 7 (2016 base) is bright, precise and bursting with energy. This blend of seven varieties, co-planted and co-fermented, mixed with a perpetual reserve that goes back to 2005 for 40% of the wine, yields a Champagne of tremendous harmony. Classy and polished to the core, Les 7 is an absolute delight and one of the real stars in this range. At its essence, the traditions of Champagne are all based on blending. This wine shows just how well those principles work. Bottled with no dosage."

"Dried oranges and apples with some bruised apples and stones. Full-bodied with round tannins and a juicy palate. Phenolic. Lots of lemon drops and dried lemons on the palate with some brioche. Esoteric blend. 10% pinot gris, 18% chardonnay, 18% pinot meunier, 15% petit meslier, 8% arbanne, 14% pinot noir and 17% pinot blanc. Solera with vintages from 2005 to 2018. Unfiltered. Dosage 0 to 4g/L."

Medium to full-bodied, it's elegantly fleshy, with tangy acids and a chalky, gently mordant finish."
