"This is Chardonnay from Oger blended with 10 percent Pinot Noir from Bouzy, and that's what it tastes like at first: My initial notes read, "Chardonnay with Pinot coloring; intriguing, weird, geek wine." The elements begin to integrate with air, floral scents, cranberry flavors, meaty aromas all circling around a firm, clean center. It turns fragrant and rosy as it opens, a racy, bold and vinous Champagne that should improve with several years in the bottle."
"Ripe black cherry and plum fruit is underscored by a smoky base note and layered with hints of tangerine, pickled ginger, roasted almond and ground anise. This is lively and balanced, with a mouthwatering, zesty finish."
