"Bright crisp lemony flavors highlight this delicious summer sipper. Delightfully refreshing, Verdelho’s naturally high acidity make it an ideal companion for the dinner table.
With each passing vintage we get a little better at crafting this relatively unknown Portuguese variety grown in our Amador County vineyard. As with all wines, the trick is in the vineyard, and over the last several years we’ve dialed in our farming practices and have found that mythical point of balance where flavor, acidity, and sugar come together to make a delicious wine. Light on the palate, with delightful tropical fruit flavors, the 2024 Verdelho has a zesty citrus quality that carries through the length of the wine making for a great summer sipper, or an ideal complement to lighter pasta dishes."
