"A field blend of 85% Assyrtiko and 15% Athiri, the 2023 Santorini Aa offers the structured tension of the first grape with the pretty floral aromas of the second. Athiri tends to be lower in acidity, but its presence gives a gentle lift and elegance to the bouquet. This vintage saw low yields and heat stress, but the results are even more concentrated and lovely as a result. The grapes are not destemmed before being pressed, and you perceive a hint of waxy richness on the close."
Winemaker Notes:
"Straw blonde color, bright, with a nose of ripe citrus fruit. Refreshing acidity and a delightful finish. A geat pairing for fish and white meat with light sauces."
