"Nowadays the grapes all come from the Francemont sector, which has solid deep chunky soil. Good concentration in a more massive style, a darker purple and with considerable muscular concentration before you hit the raft of tannins behind. This obviously needs a long time. Drink from 2030-2036. Tasted Nov 2024."
Winemaker Notes:
"A 0.2-hectare parcel of vines planted in 1965 from the Francemont sub-climat (close to Tête de Clos on the Santenay side of Morgeot). Aged 14 months in 228 L oak barrels, 50% new. Unfiltered."
