"This is her first foray, co-crafting a Sonoma Valley Cabernet, with vintner Adam Lee. Sourced in the east side of the valley, an extended area of Moon Mountain, the extended growing season had the grapes harvested in late October. Aged in 75% new French oak for 15 months and bottled without fining or filtration. Its hue is inky black-purple, delivering concentrated power with teeth-grabbing tannins at first sip. As it opens, attention-getting flavors of dusty rose, dark chocolate, gardenia, and black raspberry ganache create a textural tenderness. Spice pierces sandalwood and coffee on the long finish."

"Composed of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest mostly Syrah, with a splash of Petite Sirah, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon is a barrel sample and comes from the southern end of the Sonoma Valley. Moret’s first vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon, it was aged in 75% new French oak for 16 months. It boasts a classic and very well-layered aromatic profile already, with ripe, fresh black fruit, graphite, and purple flowers. Full-bodied, it has a great fleshy and pure ripeness, with youthful grippiness on the palate and savory accents that underline the wine. It should have a good deal of longevity, although it has a lot of youthful appeal."
