“Birbet means rascal in Italian, and it is the name of the Brachetto wine made in the Roero area. Birbet has always been considered the wine for festivities. Bright red tending to fuchsia. Sweet, sparkling, lively. Flower and fruit notes. Raspberry and underbrush strawberries. A delicate and well balanced finish. It is a perfect match with light desserts such as fresh fruit and ice cream, traditional Italian Christmas cakes such as pandoro and panettone."
