"Horse & Plow offers a great quality-to-value ratio. This Chardonnay showcases an overlying earthiness, with notes of wet cement, hay and matchstick flint. Floral aromas evolve underneath, with citrus and cherry blossom, lily of the valley and peony. Fruits follow next, suggesting lemon, lime, white peach and nectarine. Layered, and interesting, the wine maintains a light and lively attitude."
Winemaker Notes:
"Fermented and aged for 9 months in an Austrian foudre. This is a beautifully balanced Chardonnay with subtle oak aromas of vanilla and spice, notes of wet stone, apple, and pineapple. A creamy, medium body, and finishing with excellent acidity."
