"The wine that started it all. The first wine I made was The Shop. At the time, I wanted to make my wines as unpretentious as possible, regular wines for regular people. To a large extent that is still true but my inquisitive side got the better of me over the years and I couldn't help taking a more exploratory approach with The Shop. I hope that it is still an approachable wine that regular people like me can enjoy, even though the making of it has changed quite a bit. he short way to describe what changed over the years is that I matured, the vines matured, and the winemaking became simpler and more intuitive. To describe it in more detail would take more space than I have here. Try a bottle, or several, and it will tell you better than I can where I am at now."
