Winemaker Notes:
"Golden yellow-green in color. Vivid aromas of lemon oil, quince, baking spice and flint. A mouthwatering, saline reduction adds a subtle nuance to citrus, orchard fruit and spicy raw almond scents and flavors. Campbell Chardonnay has a windy energetic feel which balances the developing texture and concentration it has after a little air. This wine seduces the palate an hour or so after opening. Subtle notes of creamy brioche emerge in the glass, but the tension here maintains its lively character from the painfully small clusters and berries grown from rock-strewn soil. Youthful and delicious at 13% ABV. Drink now and over the next decade."
