"The 2021 Grenache Provisor Vineyard emerges from a site in Healdsburg near Lytton Springs. It is at once quite ripe and racy, yet also nicely lifted by the 100% stems—a natural balance that works well. Kirsch, mint, rose petal and a dose of savoriness from the whole clusters are some of the signatures."
Winemaker Notes:
"Though beautifully explosive, with robust layers of red cherry and sweet strawberries this wine is also remarkably poised and light on its feat. On the palate, the lush, juicy fruit mingles with hints of red perilla leaf, dried flowers and white pepper. Grippy, firm tannins underscore a lingering finish build to age.
I love Grenache. With its alluring red fruit aromas and rustic tannins, it can be a wonderful food wine. My goal is to accentuate this wine’s depth, complexity and ability to age, while still showcasing the vibrant character that makes great Grenache so fun and appealing."
