"The XXI is the total sum of the 2021 vintage due to frost but mainly rot caused by too much rain at the end of the season. According to its maker, the domain lost around 60% of the crop. This is definitely a Sauvignon Blanc with its green capsicum and mint flavors; often, the varietal character is less overt in the Daguneau styles. It's light in body with silken flesh built through the mid-palate. The 2021 offers some nice texture and lees-derived pastry characters."
