"Pale to mid lemon. Interesting complex nose, more depth of fruit here, fresher than Chaumées, less oak effect than Maltroie. Very pleasing through the mid palate, the oak and ripe white fruit providing a little graceful sucrosity to finish, with the acidity just holding the wine in place nicely."

"Smoky aromas of pear, apple and white flowers are cut with hints of rosemary oil. Once again there is a highly beguiling texture to the sappy and rich middle weight flavors that deliver very fine length on the balanced finale. This does need to develop better depth to merit the upper end of my projected range though it helps that this wine has a fine development track record. *Burghound Outstanding!*"
