"The 2019 The Vicar is a fabulous introduction to this range. It offers tons of energy as well as depth. Succulent red cherry, plum, cedar, tobacco, leather and incense open first, followed by a range of earthy and savory undertones that add nuance. The 2019 is beautifully done."
Winemaker Notes:
"Black plum, Bergamot, orange blossoms, roasted figs and strawberry compote form the heavenly aromas that pour from this wine. Medium bodied with summer fruits, anise, cinnamon and herbs that lead into the cassis and black strap molasses notes that linger well into the finish. Proper and a befitting ode to the great wines of the southern Rhone, this seamless expression is drinking great and should only improve."
