"Right away it’s crystal clear this is the more forward of the two Chardonnays. Explosive aromas of roasted hazelnut, apple pie filling, orange blossom and lemon oil develop on the palate into flavors of roasted apple, pineapple husk, lime zest and marzipan. Ritchie’s dynamic energy doesn’t require extended cellaring, in fact impatience is rewarded with its youthful precociousness."
