Winemaker Notes:
"A complex nose of brown sugar, opulent raspberry, and black cherry fruits lead to playful hints of eucalyptus and violet notes. Warm allspice and cinnamon wave across the palate developing into vanilla graham cracker and sandalwood. Nuances of wet stone, salinity, and umami round out the finish on this wonderfully complex blend. Lyon Vineyard was the source for our blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. Each varietal contributes some desired attributes; Cabernet Sauvignon adds intensity and tannic structure; Cabernet Franc adds red fruit impressions and tobacco leaf aromatics; Petit Verdot adds color, structure, and floral aromatics, and Merlot grounds the blend with black fruits and plum flavors."
