Allying tension with charm, this will offer a broad drinking window."

"The 2020 Santenay Le Beaurepaire 1er Cru Blanc comes from limestone/silty soils. It is understated on the nose, gradually unfurling to offer touches of freshly sliced apricot and a hint of patisserie. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity and oddly texturally reminiscent of some of Chris Alheit’s single-vineyard (yes, I know that is Chenin Blanc). Very fine persistence."
