Extra layers of concentration, with wonderful purity of fruit and the typical undertow of minerality. A fine thread of acidity focuses everything on the palate. A lovely Chablis clearly ahead of many others."

"As is the case with the 2020 Petit Chablis this year, the regular Chablis villages is also notable for its impressive mid-palate depth this year, while still retaining its classical sense of proportion and mineral drive. The bouquet jumps from the glass in a sophisticated blend of apple, pear, a fine base of chalky soil tones, a touch of oyster shell, beeswax and a lovely floral topnote redolent of white lilies. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied and deep at the core, with lovely tension and cut on the backend, fine soil signature and a long, beautifully balanced finish. Fine, fine AC. The delicious, round and caressing medium-weight flavors are shaped by equally bright citrus-tinged acidity on the clean, dry and balanced finale.
