"The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes offers a mixture of red and black fruit laced with blood orange and quince, nicely focused with a sense of energy developing with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit. Fine acidity, just slightly confit-like towards the finish that erodes a little of the precision compared to other cuvées, though there is satisfying length."
