"A slightly more elegant nose features a pretty mix of both red and dark cherry coulis, violet and more subtle earth nuances. The middle weight flavors are not as dense but they're noticeably finer on the mid-palate with very good punch that carries over to the raspy and moderately rustic finale that delivers very solid depth and persistence. This is really quite good and worth considering."

"Rustic yet polished, this is classic. You sense the grandeur of the wines of Corton, with a welcome accessibility. It is open and silky already, but you chew on the wine."
