"The 2019 Zinfandel Rockpile is largely in the same style as the other Zinfandels, that is, it's elegant, pure, and balanced, with classic aromas and flavors. It has a touch more tannins than the other wines and has beautiful cassis and blue fruits as well as pepper herbs, sandalwood, and spice-driven aromas and flavors. It's another beautiful wine. Give bottles a year or two and it should keep through 2029 with no issues."
"Spirited yet refined and robust, with vibrant cherry, smoky dill and cracked pepper flavors that take on structure toward medium-grained tannins. Drink now through 2030. 1,522 cases made."
