"Coming from vines around the estate and some near Beaucastel, and made at Vieille Julienne, the deeper hued 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape offers a beautiful, very classic style in its darker cherry and mulled blueberry-like fruits as well as violet and peppery garrigue aromas and flavors. Medium to full-bodied, it has wonderful purity and a great finish. It's beautifully done and well worth seeking out."

"Blackberries, black raspberries, spice, violets, licorice, earth, and forest floor notes all give way to a medium-bodied, rounded, sexy Châteauneuf-du-Pape that has fine tannin and a great finish. By marriage of the legendary terraces, covered with quartzite pebbles, sand of safres and red clays, with a blend of the main grapes varieties from the place, such as grenache, cinsault, syrah, counoise, mourvedre, clairette, bourbloulenc and picardan, this Chateauneuf du Pape definitely exemplify the tradition."
