"The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Les Combettes 1er Cru has a very discreet bouquet, maybe without the same degree of complexity and terroir expression as the Les Referts. The palate is well balanced, offering orange peel on the entry, good weight and an appealing waxy texture. It just requires a little more tension and mineralite toward the finish to catch up with Jadot’s other Puligny Premier Crus."
Winemaker Notes:
"With generally lighter acidity, this wine is rich with hazelnut, tobacco and truffle aromas and flavors, especially after several years of bottle aging. It will develop in the bottle for 8 to 12 years."
