"The 2019 Vacqueyras Castillon is in the same ballpark quality-wise. Based on 55% Grenache, 40% Syrah, and 5% Mourvèdre, it’s loaded with Provençal notes of red plums, jammy cherries, garrigue, and incense. Concentrated, full-bodied, and mouth-filling, it stays perfectly balanced and has enough tannins to warrant a year or two of bottle age."

"Shiny dress with carmine red highlights. Intense and complex nose, with roasted notes of black fruits and garrigue. Smooth and full bodied in the palate. Great mastery of aging."
