"This is Anne's 'great terroir' wine, one that benefits from a unique vein of limestone, à la Burgundy. 'Ciaude' in the local dialect means sun; every sip is saturated with rich red /black summer fruits.
On this large clay-limestone terroir facing due south, the white limestone of Agel with its blinding clarity, gave us wines of very good energy. These fine wines, which have benefited from careful aging in barrels, have created a superbly silky cuvée combined with finesse and mineral persistence. It is the magical alliance of the scorching sun and the cool soils where the vines will draw their water reserves from the depths. Early and regular maturity, good acidity…"
