"A serious Rosso di Montalcino with Sangiovese intensity and somewhat darker fruits for the varietal, yet very vibrant. Medium-bodied with expansive Sangiovese aromas that are confirmed on the palate. A wine of real depth for the category. Excellent fruit purity with fine layers of complexity; absent any murky, smoky or spicy aromas and flavors that sometimes taint wines of the appellation. Moderate, 14% alcohol with good balance and excellent drinkability."
