"The 2018 W.E. Bottoms Vineyard Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is showing beautiful notes of Raspberry, dark cherries, wet underbrush, brambly red fruits, clove and allspice. The palate is bursting at the seems as the nose seamlessly transitions into a myriad of rolling flavors accompanied by silky tannins, bright acid and a long spice driven finish."
About the Vineyard:
"Located 2 miles east of the town of Occidental the W.E. Bottoms Vineyard sits at an elevation of 700 feet in the Russian River Valley and it was planted in 1998 to Dijon Clones 114, 115, 777, and 667. The soils found on this charming 3 acre vineyard are Sandy Loam and Gold Ridge."
