"Bright aromas of orange, honey and peach provide a slight sweetness, but the clean minerality on the finish reveals it’s not sweet at all."
Vineyard Notes:
"The Scheid Viento Vineyard is situated on a gradual east-facing slope on the western side of the Salinas Valley at the foot of the Santa Lucia Mountains. The soil is composed of well-draining, calcareous shale. The climate is cool and windy. Since Fogarty's first vintage in 1984, they have been consistently impressed with the quality of Gewürztraminer they source from Monterey County."
