"This is the latest project of winemaker Greg La Follette. The Van der Kamp family has produced top-quality Pinot Noir grapes from this special vineyard for over four decades, making it one of California’s oldest Pinot Noir vineyards. The wine's floral aromas and forest floor burst forth followed by baking spices, particularly cinnamon and nutmeg. Red fruit with hints of watermelon, stone fruit and strawberry cream dance along the palate finessed by high mountain tannins and balanced acidity."
