"Grignolino, a medium-bodied varietal from the Piedmont region in northern Italy and rarely found in California, has been a part of the Heitz Cellar portfolio since our founding in 1961, and has garnered a loyal following over the last six decades.
This consistent, food-friendly Grignolino features aromas and flavors of slightly spicy wild strawberries. Its light color and juicy texture make it similar to a rosé, while its slightly more developed structure allows it to pair with heartier meals. Enjoy chilled alongside BBQ, cured meat, and cheese for a great picnic experience."
