"The 2017 Syrah Tin Barn is a new wine from Red Car’s estate vineyard in Fort Ross-Seaview. Savory and perfumed in the glass, with lovely chalky and citrus overtones, the Tin Barn is another expressive wine in this range. I would prefer to give a few years in the bottle to fully come together."

"From a site in the Fort Ross-Seaview AVA, the 2017 Syrah Tin Barn is more foursquare and tannic, with a savory, structured style as well as complex notes of red and black fruits, ground pepper, dried earth, and leather. It needs 2-3 years of bottle age and its tannins will need to be watched."
