About the Wine:
The Esparter is the most genuine expression of the elegance and minerality of the great Macabeu vines planted on the calcareous soils in Costers de l’Ordal. The Esparter vineyard, of nearly 5 hectares of old vine planted in 1968 and trained traditionally, has a fresh microclimate. The northwest orientation enables it to capture only the faintest light of the morning and protects it from the torrid and hot sun of the afternoon. Its closeness to the sea, moreover, gives it the humidity and freshness that tempers hydric stress during the maturing period.
