I’m fond of saying that this wine might be more Pinot Noir-like than an actual German Pinot Noir. And you’ll see right away why we’re so fond of this anomaly. This native Austrian variety is grown in a small parcel of limestone rich soils in one of Germany’s most underappreciated sub-regions and completely overdelivers.
